Charlotte Atyeo

Charlotte represents non-fiction authors as well as a select number of children’s and fiction authors.

Before agenting, she spent twenty years as an editor – most recently ten years at Bloomsbury, where she was Publisher of prize-winning narrative sport titles, general non-fiction titles, The Nightwatchman quarterly, and Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack. In the decade prior to that, she worked across a broad range of genres including cookery, fiction, gift, humour, and business.

She is primarily looking for original and brilliantly written general non-fiction, biography and memoir, sport, music, nature writing, and feminism, gender and equality issues.

On the fiction side, she is taking on a small number of literary novels. Some of the fiction she has loved most in recent years includes Reservoir 13 by Jon McGregor, My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent, Based on a True Story by Delphine de Vigan, Weathering by Lucy Wood, All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler, and The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt.


We are actively looking for new clients and welcome submissions in the following areas: fiction, both commercial and literary; non-fiction, in particular biography, cookery, history, humour, memoir, music, politics, sport and wellbeing and lifestyle; and children’s fiction and non-fiction.
