Tor UK gobbles up Max Doty's 'claustrophobic spiral of a horror novel' The House That Eats the Dead

Maria Brannan has sold World English language rights in Max's chilling debut in a two-book deal to Tor/Nightfire, part of Pan Macmillan, here in the UK. North American rights have been sold in a pre-emptive deal to Ballantine in the USA by the Pan Mac rights team, and Greyhound has also closed deals for Polish rights with Muza (via our colleagues at Book/Lab in Warsaw) and German rights, with Goldmann.

Screen rights in the novel have been optioned via Michelle Kroes at CAA in a deal yet to be announced.
