Letty Butler is a multi-disciplinary writer and performer based in Brighton. Accolades includes the Fish Short Story Prize, The BPA Pitch Prize, New Writers Flash Award, Flash500 and a Northern Writers Award. She has been shortlisted or placed in The Bridport Prize, Bath Flash Fiction, Mslexia, The Letter Review Prize, Silver Apples, Fish Flash Fiction Prize, The Funny Women Awards and Reflex International. Her films have been shown at BAFTA, LOCO and Aesthetica Film Festivals, and she was shortlisted for The Kay Mellor Fellowship in 2024.

Letty has an MA in Creative Writing from SHU and is represented by Alexander Cochran at Greyhound Literary. Her debut novel will be published by Fleet (Little Brown) in 2027.
