Dan Pinchbeck is best known for his work as a game developer. From 2012-2023 he ran the critically acclaimed game studio The Chinese Room with the composer Jessica Curry. Under his direction, TCR established itself as one of the most interesting and restlessly creative game studios in the UK.

The games Dan wrote and directed have won some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, including multiple BAFTAs and a WGGB Award for Best Writing in a Videogame.

Dan is currently working on his debut novel.
