Sioned Wiliam

Sioned Wiliam is a writer, broadcaster and producer. She began her career in a double act for BBC Radio 4 with Rebecca Front who she met in the Oxford Revue. She has had a long career in comedy production working on programmes such as Big TrainDrop the Dead Donkey and Yonderland. She has been a commissioning editor for both ITV and BBC Radio 4 and was the interim CEO for S4C in 2024. She has just delivered her fifth novel to Y Lolfa and her first, Dal i Fynd, was optioned for television by Working Title and broadcast on BBC Radio Cymru. Sioned is also an experienced interviewer and moderator and has worked at a number of literary festivals including Hay, Primadonna, Montgomery Lit Fest, Queens Park and Primrose Hill, interviewing a range of authors including Richard Coles, Helen Lederer, James Runcie, Mike Parker, Gwyneth Lewis and the National Poet of Wales Hannan Issa. She recently joined the board of Literature Wales as a Trustee and is currently translating her most recent novel 60 Something, into English.
