Rogelio Luque Lora was born in Córdoba and brought up in the Andalusian countryside. In 2012, he moved to Britain to take a BA in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, staying on there to take an MSci in History and Philosophy of Science, for which he was awarded the Crausaz-Wordsworth Prize, and then a PhD in Geography. Rogelio’s research explores human relations with the land, and the ethical values that underpin them, with a focus on environmental philosophy and cultural geography. His work is broad in scope and interdisciplinary in nature, and has been published in The Guardian, The Philosopher and The Conversation, amongst others. He has now taken up a Leverhulme Research Fellowship at the University of Edinburgh.
