Katie wrote romantic fiction before turning to crime. Her debut novel was a World Book Night pick and her books are published in fourteen languages.
Katie spent every childhood summer in the Lake District, which is the setting for her new cosy crime series, The Christie Sisters Mysteries. The books feature a dilapidated Lakehouse B&B, two sisters who haven't spoken for thirty years and a warring cat and dog. The first book in the series, A Body in the B&B, is out in August 2026.
