Iain Dey

Iain Dey is senior managing director at Teneo. He spent 17 years working for national newspapers in the UK, including more than a decade with The Sunday Times where his roles included business editor, and New York Correspondent. He was named business journalist of the year in the UK in 2010 for his coverage of the financial crisis. His reporting experience ranges from celebrity interviews to financial investigations with the award-winning Insight team, and foreign reportage from countries including Venezuela, Cuba and Iceland.

Iain grew up in the north of Scotland. He graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2001, where he read English and was part of the university’s inaugural creative writing programme – taught by Douglas Dunn, John Burnside and Kathleen Jamie. The Cryotron Files is his first full-length book.
