Emily H. Wilson

Emily H. Wilson is the author of The Sumerians Trilogy, an epic novel series set in Ancient Mesopotamia and published by Titan Books. Her next novel, a space opera, will be published by Titan in 2026. Before becoming a full-time writer, Emily Wilson worked as a journalist, most recently at New Scientist. She was the first woman to edit the magazine in its sixty-plus year history. Before that she spent 16 years at the Guardian working across news and features. She is currently New Scientist's science fiction reviewer.
Emily has a life-long interest in ancient history and prehistory. In her spare time, she collects prehistoric stone tools from the fields around her home in southwest England, and she is writing a narrative non-fiction book on flint hunting which will be published by Particular Books/Penguin Press in 2028.
