Abaka Debrah is a spoken word artist and writer from Essex. After completing his Undergraduate and Master's at the University of Warwick and International Development at the University of Bath, he combined his love for poetry with a love for writing with a blog page entitled 'As I Grow Older' on Substack. After a short career as a Consultant, he turned his attention to writing, and as the winner of the 2024/25 #Merky Books New Writers Prize, he is excited to share his debut novel, Where Geezers Call Home, with the world.
