Duncan Crowe and James Peak

Duncan Crowe and James Peak collaborate on the popular series of comic novels, Scoundrels, channelling the stories of the despicable and disreputable spies Majors Cornwall and Trevelyan. The books have been described as “genius” (The Chap), “immensely satisfying” (The Daily Telegraph) and “like Flashman on acid” (Men’s Adventure Library). Volume Two was one of the Spectator’s Books of the Year in 2018.

Duncan is an award-winning moving image director and writer, and former Royal Marine, who has created films for some of the world’s biggest brands. James Peak is a radio and podcast producer and writer who works with the Pythons as well as presenting comedy and factual features on BBC Radio 4.

Duncan and James plan to continue to write further volumes of Scoundrels until the inevitable drunken bust-up at a literary festival which will settle into a vicious lifelong feud that bankrupts them both. Scoundrels Volume Three will be published in late 2021.
