Tom Gabbay

Author of the Jack Teller series of historical suspense novels, Tom Gabbay studied painting and sculpture at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, during which time he contributed weekly political cartoons to the Philadelphia Daily News. He began his career in New York, producing and directing a series of award-winning animated films for the acclaimed children's programme Sesame Street, as well as directing a variety of music videos and commercials. Following a move to Los Angeles, Gabbay took on the role of Director of Comedy Programs at NBC television, overseeing classic sitcoms like Cheers and Family Ties. Moving to London to take on the role of Creative Director of NBC's European production arm, Tom created and served as Executive Producer of the 13-hour television series The Wanderer, which aired on Sky TV.

In addition to his novels, Tom has written screenplays for Legendary Television, Warner Brothers TV, the BBC, 20th Century Fox, and Hallmark.
