Sue Ransom

A few years ago Sue Ransom had an entirely different life. A scientist by education, she spent many years working in the IT and Pharmaceutical industries, and only came to fiction when she decided – on a whim – to write a book for her daughter’s twelfth birthday. The award-winning Small Blue Thing went on to become the launch publication for Nosy Crow and the series has been translated into multiple languages. As SC Ransom, Sue has a total of four books for teenagers published: Small Blue Thing, Perfectly Reflected, Scattering Like Light, and The Beneath. Sue is now a full-time writer living in Chichester, UK, working mainly on adult fiction and on commissioned memoirs, where she is able to marry her ability to tell a story with many years’ experience of interviewing from her corporate days. She is an active member of the London Writers’ Salon.
