Manni Coe
The second of four brothers, Manni grew up in Yorkshire and Berkshire. He studied Latin American history and culture at Edinburgh University and then travelled in South America before finally settling in Andalucia, Spain. Manni now lives between Dorset and a tiny Spanish town called Archidona and works as a private guide in Spain and around the world. brother.do.you.love.me., Manni’s first book, was published by Little Toller Books and went on to become a Sunday Times bestseller when it was paperbacked by Canongate . Illustrated by his brother Reuben who has Down’s Syndrome, the book has an extraordinary emotional pull as it tells of the two brothers’ journey to help Reuben recover from the trauma of lockdown.
Manni's second book, Little Ruins, was published in Autumn 2025, also by Canongate. A memoir about the healing power of nature and community set against the wonder of the Andalusian landscape, the book was described by Clare Balding as 'beautifuly written and deeply moving.' She went on to say, 'The power of Manni's story and the depth of his soul will stay with you long after you've read the final chapter.'
