Ed McDonald

Ed McDonald is the author of the Raven's Mark novels (Blackwing, Ravencry and Crowfall) and the Redwinter Chronicles novels (Daughter of Redwinter, Traitor of Redwinter and Witch Queen of Redwinter). Ed studied Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Birmingham, and Medieval History at Birkbeck College, University of London.

Across the years Ed has worked as a game master on World of Warcraft and as an academic teaching writing skills, finding time between to study historical martial arts and run tabletop roleplaying games for his friends. He lives in London.
